It was lovely to see the residents enjoying the visit from the local Brownies. Carols were sung and they gave all of the residents a Christmas card and a little gift bag filled with sweets, a mince pie, a decoration for the Xmas tree and a decoration for them to paint. Christmas is a wonderful time to come together and have some festive fun- regardless of whether your 8 years old or 80! We regularly host inter generational activities at Bernash and it always so wonderful to see how the residents’ faces light up when the children are around, and watch some wonderful relationships form.
